Our commitment

When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly. A correction is part of the record, not something to hide, and readers should always be able to see what changed and when.

How to report an error

Email press@acquiry.com with the article link, the passage in question and, where you can, a source that supports the correction. Companies named in an article are welcome to contact us the same way.

How we review it

Every report is acknowledged and checked by the analyst who wrote the article, against the primary source.

  • Acknowledgement within two business days.
  • Factual errors in deal terms, figures or names are corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
  • Disputed points of analysis are reviewed on the evidence; where we keep our view we explain why.

How corrections appear

A correction note is added to the article stating what was wrong and what it now says, and the article updated time moves forward. Structured data and sitemaps are refreshed so search engines see the same change.

Small fixes that do not change meaning, such as spelling or formatting, are made without a note.

Updates versus corrections

An update adds new information, for example a regulatory approval or completion, to an article that was accurate when published. Updates are labelled as such and dated, so they are never confused with corrections.

Removal

We do not remove published articles because a party dislikes the analysis. We will remove or amend content where it is unlawful, inaccurate beyond correction, or where personal safety is at risk.
