For bloggers, creators and niche site owners
How to sell your affiliate site, in plain English.
No jargon, no pressure. Get your numbers ready in a weekend, see roughly what your site is worth, check how safe it is from the next Google update, and talk to an advisor when you're ready to cash out.

Rule of thumb: healthy affiliate sites sell for 30x to 45x their average monthly profit.
Step one: get ready
Three things to do before you talk to any buyer.
Buyers pay more for sites they can check quickly. These three jobs take about five hours in total, and they are the difference between a fast sale and weeks of back-and-forth.
- 1About 1 hour
Clean up your Google Analytics
Buyers will ask to see your traffic straight from the source. Make sure GA4 is installed on every page, filter out your own visits and bots, and keep at least 12 months of history.
- Check the GA4 tag fires on every template (posts, category pages, home)
- Exclude your own IP and known bot traffic
- Link Google Search Console so buyers can see keywords and clicks
- Add a read-only viewer seat you can share later
- 2About 2 hours
Download your affiliate payouts
Screenshots and CSV exports straight from each dashboard are the proof buyers trust most. Pull at least 12 months, ideally 24, month by month.
- Amazon Associates: earnings report by month
- RewardStyle / LTK, Impact, CJ, ShareASale, Awin: payout history
- Casino and betting networks (NetRefer, Income Access, MyAffiliates): revenue share and CPA statements
- Match each payout to the bank deposit it landed in
- 3About 2 hours
Separate personal and site costs
Buyers pay for profit, so make the profit easy to see. Move every site cost onto one card or account and list anything personal that has been running through the business.
- One card or account for hosting, tools, writers and links
- A simple monthly profit and loss sheet for the last 12 months
- Note one-off costs (a redesign, a big content push) so they can be added back
- Remove personal subscriptions from the site books
What is my site worth?
Your monthly profit, times a number between 30 and 45.
That's really it. Take your average monthly net profit over the last 12 months (revenue minus the real costs of running the site) and multiply it. The things below decide whether you land near 30x or closer to 45x.
Rough value range
$155,000 – $180,000
31x to 36x your monthly profit of $5,000.
This is a typical market range, not an offer. Buyers also look at traffic trends, how your income is split and how much work the site needs each week. A short call with us turns this into a real number.
The Google update risk quiz
How safe is your site from the next algorithm update?
Five quick questions. Buyers ask all of them, so it's worth knowing your answers first. You get a risk score and a simple fix for every weak spot.
Am I ready to sell?
Tick all five and you're ready to talk to an advisor.
These are the five things every serious buyer checks first. When they're all true, we can usually take your site to buyers within a couple of weeks.

Questions
Selling an affiliate site: the honest answers.
How much is my affiliate site worth?
Most affiliate and content sites are valued as a multiple of average monthly net profit, usually somewhere between 30x and 45x for healthy sites. A site making $5,000 a month in profit would typically be valued around $150,000 to $225,000. Age, growth, how spread out the income is and how much work it takes to run all move you up or down that range.
What counts as monthly net profit?
It is your average monthly revenue over the last 12 months, minus the real costs of running the site: hosting, tools, writers, editors and links. Your own time is not counted as a cost, and one-off expenses can be added back if you can show them.
How long does it take to sell an affiliate site?
Once your numbers are ready, a typical sale takes 6 to 12 weeks from first buyer conversations to money in your account. The preparation checklist on this page is usually the slowest part, and you can do most of it in a weekend.
Do I need to stay on after the sale?
Most buyers ask for a short handover, often 30 days, where you answer questions and show them how things work. It is light work, usually a few calls and emails a week.
Can I sell a site that was hit by a Google update?
Yes. Buyers look at where the site is now and where it is heading. A clear recovery plan and a fair price based on current profit still sells. Take the risk quiz on this page to see where you stand.
How do affiliate accounts move to the new owner?
Some programs let you change the account holder, others need the buyer to open a new account and swap the links. We plan this step by step so commissions keep paying through the switch.
What do you charge?
Our fee is a success fee, paid only when the sale completes. There is nothing to pay to have a first conversation or a valuation chat.
